1. Agreement to Terms
By engaging National Automotive Electrical for automotive electrical services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided including but not limited to dash cam installations, CarPlay/Android Auto upgrades, trailer brake controllers, dual battery systems, ADAS calibrations, and all other electrical services.
2. Service Description
National Automotive Electrical provides mobile automotive electrical services across North & West Melbourne Metro + Melbourne CBD. Our services include:
- Dash Camera Installation (Hard-wired Parking Mode)
- CarPlay / Android Auto Head-Unit Upgrades
- Trailer Brake Controllers & Towing Electrics
- 4×4/RV Dual Battery & DC-DC Systems
- Post-Accident Electrical & ADAS Repairs
- Airbag & SRS Repairs
- ADAS Calibrations
- A/C Regas & Repairs
3. Mobile Service Terms
Our mobile service operates within our designated service areas. Customers must provide safe, accessible parking for our technicians to work. Additional charges may apply for services outside our standard service area or for difficult access locations.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit Card
- Direct Debit
- Cash
- Bank Transfer
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. A deposit may be required for large installations or custom work.
5. Warranty
We provide a warranty on our workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of installation. This warranty covers defects in our installation work but does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by external factors. Manufacturer warranties apply separately to all parts and components.
6. Liability and Insurance
National Automotive Electrical carries appropriate public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for any consequential or indirect damages. Customers are advised that modifications to vehicles may affect insurance coverage and should check with their insurer.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure their vehicle is accessible and safe for our technicians to work on. Any existing electrical faults or modifications must be disclosed prior to service commencement. Customers are responsible for backing up any data or settings that may be affected by the installation.
8. ADAS and Safety Systems
For ADAS calibrations and safety system work, customers acknowledge that these systems are critical for vehicle safety. Any concerns about system functionality should be reported immediately. We recommend professional calibration after any windscreen replacement or collision repair.
9. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a call-out fee. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, vehicle accessibility issues, or technical requirements.
10. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
